Who are we?

Cristina Ramos

Director and founder of SevillaELE

¡Hola! my name is Cristina and since I was little I dreamed of being a teacher. I would put all my stuffed animals in line and explain things to them on the board (I loved using my colored chalk and eraser!). I have dedicated my whole life to teaching.

I had always had the urge to dedicate myself to teaching in that way much more personal, dynamic and participatory, so I decided that I wanted to teach my language in that way.

I got certified at CLIC INTERNATIONAL HOUSE Sevilla in a super intensive course and believe me, it was really intensive (with over 14 hours of learning daily!). Incredibly motivating and beautiful madness.

I´ve never liked to follow a path already built, I like to create my own path. I think that learning a language is the same, a way of life that we must create as best suits us, our pace and our needs and tastes. That is why I have created my own methodology in which for me, the most important thing is the student. My classes are planned in a personalized way adapting to each and every one of my students respecting their tastes, needs, rhythms and objectives. Here you are the protagonist! Normally my classes are very dynamic so you can practice all aspects of Spanish in different ways (games, songs, grammar exercises, vocabulary)…), but if you want a more methodical class and more focused on grammar I can also do it, I´m flexible and I adapt to what you are looking for.

Franciso Javier (Tuchi)

Cultural manager of SevillaELE

¡Hola! my name is Fran, although many people know me as Tuchi, I´m Sevillian and I dedicate myself to one of the most beautiful and cool professions in the world, I´m an Official Tourist Guide.

The truth is that since childhood my dream was to be a cop, but little by little I realized that my thing was to entertain people and make them have fun. That’s why I started in the tourism sector working as an animator in hotels, a job that I also love.

As I’ve always liked to further education and learning (to this day I do), I decided to start a new way and I opted for studying the Higher Cycle Guide, Tourist Information and Assistance, since, with all that I have learned in animation (Languages, public speaking, lose the shame, etc.) seemed like a good idea to adapt all my experience and knowledge to the world of the guided tours.

Finally, to say that as a great fan of the tourism sector, I´m always trying to find new places and secrets of Seville and surroundings, so that you never lack plans to make.

This mix was a success and has been one of the best decisions of my life, as in my tours I always try to show my passion for history in an entertaining and fun way.
